July 2018

KSDL is delighted to announce that The Very Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche will be visiting our temple on Friday July 6, 2018 and we will be hosting a special event for our valued KSDL members from 5pm to 7pm.
Thrangu Rinpoche will be delivering a teaching on “Vivid Awareness: The Mind Instructions of Khenpo Gangshar”, the topic of his newest book. This teaching contains the essential points of Mahamudra and Dzogchen, both view and practice, and includes contemplations on the ephemeral nature of both joy and suffering, meditations for resting the mind, and guidance for cultivating equanimity in any situation.
Due to space restrictions, this teaching is only open to KSDL members in good standing.  If you are a KSDL member and would like to take advantage of this opportunity to receive such a precious teaching with a limited audience, please write to to be put on the list. Please respond by June 15.  After the June 15 deadline, if there are still openings, we will open the registration to non-members.
