New Center Fundrasing Activity
 Treasure Vase view
In order to pay back some generous loans we
received to help purchase our new temple at
Vaughan Road, Choje Lama Namse Rinpoche is
making and blessing a total of 1,000 Bumpas
(vases) to be offered to supporters and
friends of the temple.
A Bumpa or Treasure Vase is filled with many
precious jewels, dharma medicines and herbs, and
is blessed to promote the prosperity and
protection of the holder. Many different mantras
of deities and protectors are included in the
Bumpa, including White Dzambhala, Tsitigarbha,
and Basudharine. White Dzambhala is a protector
and deity associated with wealth and prosperity.
Tsitigarbha is one of the eight Bodhisattvas, and
considered a protector of the earth and environment.
Basudharine is the dakini of wealth, bringing good
luck, prosperity, health and long life.
The blessed Bumpa brings prosperity and good fortune
to the holder, and helps prevent problems and
difficulties. It also helps promote peace and avert
warfare in the world generally.
We are asking for a donation of CAD$108 for
the Bumpa and to support the Temple. A tax receipt
of CAD$108 will be issued to the donor for the
portion of the payment considered a donation. You
will also receive all of the blessings outlined above.
The Bumpas are available at our Dharma store.
We hope you can support this worthy cause and help
us meet our goal of 1,000 Bumpas.
